Turning

In addition to milling operations to complete the service offered to customers, Fer Metal is able to perform turning operations on metals for third parties.
We can machine workpieces either from bar, as we have lathes with a bar pusher applied, or from single-piece shot for small to medium series.
We machine parts from drawn rather than rolled blanks, but also hot-formed steel parts.

Turning processes

Turning operations include rough machining and finishing operations (e.g. drilling, threading, reaming) of the workpiece. Through the technical drawing or 3D model, the required machining operations are extrapolated.
